Critical Examination of the Intellectual Property Regimes in the Gulf-Co-operation Council (GCC) States

The research focuses on the intellectual property developments made by member states of GCC and how development subsequent deployment, can act as a catalyst for financial prosperity. main purpose is to analyse examine provisions currently in existence within GCC. aim provide recommendations improve current level protection at both national state through an integrated model. There have been three stages Gulf states; pre Trade Related Aspects Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) stage, TRIPS compliance push towards Plus. To date, each individual has developed its laws varying rates. Post 2000, all display set that are largely compliant with TRIPS. Therefore question arises much scope there accede more stringent provisions. will show this key GCC, international partners wider trading communities WTO. findings does not capacity take Plus without compromising sharia value instead model needed.
